TSoAPE theme song: coming soon

Standard

All things in this world of ours (and possibly elsewhere) require a theme song. I like to think that I am not a thing and therefore I am OK with not having one. If you have evidence to the contrary and can prove that I am a thing, you are free to write one about me.

The purpose of this post is to tell you that I am composing a theme for the Slowest of All Possible Elevators. Ideally, I would post it right here, but I can’t because it doesn’t exist yet. I have just decided to write it and I plan to spend as long as it takes tomorrow to do it well. I am not normally a musician, so I may need to enlist outside help for that part.

If it seems that I just stalling by writing about what I will write tomorrow, that is because I am. I think that posting every day as I have been doing lately has not made me more diligent, but also lessened the quality of my work. Anything you have read here lately that has not been terrible was probably written in an earlier time. By putting more time and thought into tomorrow’s entry, I am hoping to make it better.

Progress Report on Monster Hunt

Standard

I have returned from my journey in distant lands and since I’ve been back, I’ve identified the monster. With some assistance, I’ve also found how it enters my home every night.

English: The Sando aqua monster was a massive ...

Was it a small goat? A raccoon? A beaver? Sadly, the truth is much more boring than I expected. It seems to be a mouse or possibly mice and the hole in my wall (which was hidden behind the heating vent) is now patched up with some kind of foam. I’m told it will soon be eaten through as well, but in two weeks, the Pest Controller will stop by with better foam. This kind can also be eaten, but is more poisonous. I do not like poisoning things, but this thing is keeping me awake at night and sleep deprivation can be deadly, so the poison foam will be used for self defense.

Another thing

After I decided on a title for this place, I noticed that it has a really nifty acronym.

TSOAPE.

It contains several words, none of which have anything to do with what it stands for. Backwards, it is EPAOST, which looks like a word. I don’t think it means anything, but I will give it meaning soon. You will be one of the first to know when I do.
